PARIJS–(BUSINESS WIRE)– LeoSat Enterprises, dat een constellatie van 108 communicatiesatellieten in een lage baan om de aarde lanceert voor het snelste, veiligste en grootste datanetwerk ter wereld, heeft bekendgemaakt dat Peter Schrickel, voormalig penningmeester van SES, aantreedt bij LeoSat als financieel directeur. Uit hoofde van deze functie leidt Peter de financiële bedrijfsvoering van de onderneming, zoals het veiligstellen van financiering, financiële planning en coördinatie van relaties met investeerders.

Peter heeft meer dan twintig jaar aan ervaring in financiën. Voorafgaand aan zijn werk voor SES, waar hij als senior vicepresident en penningmeester verantwoordelijkheid droeg voor de kapitaalstructuur van SES, diversificatie van de financiering en de implementatie van een routeboek voor boekhouding, werkte Schrickel voor Volkswagen AG, waar hij leiding gaf aan de financiering van de wereldwijde activiteiten van VW, kapitaalstructuren opzette en financiering voor nieuwe projecten veiligstelde.

In this role, Peter will be spearhead finance for the company including securing funding, managing financial planning and coordinating investor relations.

Peter has more than 20 years of experience in the finance sector. Prior to serving at SES, where as SVP & Group Treasurer, he was globally responsible for enhancing SES’s capital structure, diversifying funding, and implementing a treasury roadmap, Schrickel worked for Volkswagen AG where he oversaw the financing of VW’s activities worldwide and ensured the capital structure and financing of new projects.
